The Laurels B&B

One good thing about being closed, is that we get more time to catch up on those pesky jobs that just won't do themselves.
Over the weekend I spent way too many hours jet-washing every square inch of our drive. Feel free to comment on how amazing it looks when we're finally allowed to welcome guests again ๐Ÿ˜Š

The Laurels B&B

It is with regret that, due to Government advice on COVID-19, we have decided to close The Laurels B&B initially until 7th May.

This date will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, depending on Government advice.

This decision hasnโ€™t been easy for us to make. As a small family business, we are not covered by insurance for this eventuality so, like many other small businesses, will face a considerable financial impact as a result.

We very much appreciate your support during this challenging period and look forward to seeing you some time in the future.

We hope you and your family stay safe.

I’m sorry you’ve had to make this choice, but I know you are trying to keep everyone safe. I followed you after watching your ordeal with the landslide, and have every intention to look you up when we can afford to travel across the pond. Good luck and may you stay safe

Sending lots of love to you all at the Laurels, Phil and Helen! A horrible decision to have to make, but I’m sure we will see you on the other side of this ordeal ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Time is Money

"Time is Money" It's not an uncommon saying. People talk about how much their time is worth and how they are willing to spend it. Like many who travel, I'd rather spend money on experiences than things. Also, like many people, I have a lot less money than I have time....
